Transition Projects is located in the Bud Clark Commons building. The building sits in front of the train station and across from Portland’s Main Post Office. Guests and donors, please enter through the Hoyt Street door, ring the buzzer, and staff will provide access.
DONATION DESK & DROP OFF LOCATION
Donation drop-offs accepted Tuesdays 9 a.m. - noon, Wednesdays 3 - 6 p.m., and Fridays 9 a.m. - noon at 665 NW Hoyt St. Portland, OR 97209. Please email volunteer@tprojects.org to schedule a drop-off appointment outside of these hours.
A donation receipt will be provided and we’ll send a follow-up letter for your tax purposes.
SHELTER REFERRAL
Transition Projects shelters serve adults 18+ who are currently experiencing homelessness in Multnomah County.
HOUSING RESOURCES
If you currently reside in Multnomah County, are chronically homeless (more than one year), and suffer from a disabling condition, then you are eligible to be assessed by our Coordinated Housing Access Team.
VETERAN SERVICES
If you are a veteran experiencing or at risk of homelessness, please call 855-425-5544 and get connected to services or fill out our referral form for Veterans Services assistance.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Transition Projects has many ways to get involved. Our Meal Provider Program is one of our most popular and meaningful volunteer activities. We also offer roles for individuals and small groups, including both one-time and ongoing opportunities.
